Equilibrium has a clear, easy-to-grasp overall concept
This innovative proposal wants to transform the traditional government office building into an attractive, buzzing service hub for the entire community. The building would house centralized government and municipal bodies, as well as their partner organizations.
The new service concept includes not only a “one stop shop” for government and municipal services, but also an array of additional services. They want to use any remaining permitted building volume to create a mixed-use block including commercial and well-being services, as well as attractive residential solutions in order to increase structural density and grow the customer basis. The result is a buzzing, attractive meeting place for the entire community.
As collaboration within and between government agencies increase, silo structures are broken down and organizational boundaries blur. The ultimate result is one unified governmental organ, where agencies collaborate in crossfunctional teams and networks. Development of public services is carried out in collaboration with the citizens as well as the private and third sectors. All with the support of the new work environment concept.
